The scope
Seamless joints, matched grain, built to code.
A railing gets looked at and handled every day, so the details matter: the joint where the post meets the rail, the grain direction on the tube, whether the cable runs straight. Welds here are ground flush and re-grained to match the tube, so the finished rail reads as one piece.
The scope covers residential stair and balcony rails; exterior deck and pool rails in 316, which stays bright in desert sun and around chlorine; cable rail with swage fittings; glass-rail posts, base shoes, and standoffs; and commercial ADA handrail with proper returns and extensions. Brushed #4 is the standard finish. Mirror polish is available.
Every rail is measured on site, built in the shop in St. George, and installed by the same welder. Posts are core-drilled, side-mounted, or plate-mounted depending on the substrate. Guard height, baluster spacing, and handrail grip follow the applicable code. Powder-coated steel and aluminum rail are available where stainless is not the right choice, and matching gates and fence can be built with them.

304 or 316?
316 outdoors, around pools, and anywhere it sees chlorine or salt. 304 is fine for interior rails. The price difference is small compared with a rail that tea-stains after a few summers. In Southern Utah the answer is usually 316.

Is cable railing code-compliant?
Yes, when it is built correctly: posts spaced to hold tension, cable spacing that keeps a 4-inch sphere out, and a rigid top rail at guard height. Every cable rail here is designed to the applicable residential or commercial code and tensioned so it stays that way.

Can you match an existing rail?
Usually. Send a photo and the tube dimensions. Matching profile, finish, and grain direction is a normal request on additions and repairs. If a perfect match is not possible, you will hear that before the work starts.

How is it mounted?
Core-drilled into concrete, side-mounted to a stringer or fascia, or plate-mounted with anchors, depending on the substrate and the look you want. Base plates and covers are stainless to match.

How does the finish hold up?
Brushed 316 stays bright with an occasional rinse. There is no coating to chalk or peel. Interior rails can be 304 in brushed or mirror finish.
