The scope
The break doesn’t come to the bay.
Some repairs will never see a shop floor: the excavator dead in a cut, the gate hanging off a ranch post, the trailer on a shoulder with a cracked tongue. When the steel can’t travel, the shop does. The mobile unit dispatches from St. George and works the whole county — Hurricane, Washington, Santa Clara, Ivins, La Verkin — and out to Veyo, Enterprise, and Springdale when the job makes sense.
Field work runs the same standard as bay work: fit-up checked, metal prepped to bright, the weld inspected before hand-off. And the house rule is “call ahead, we load accordingly” — describe the break and the rig arrives with the process, filler, and gear the repair actually needs, not a reason for a second trip.
Most mobile calls are heavy equipment down in the dirt, ranch steel too far from town, or jobsite structure that has to go up where it stands. If it’s steel and it can’t move — call.
