The scope
Structural repairs that hold at highway speed.
A trailer repair is a structural weld on something that will run at 75 miles per hour with a load behind your truck. The frame, tongue, coupler, and spring hangers are the parts that matter. They get full-penetration welds, proper prep, and gussets where the original design was thin.
Typical work includes cracked or bent tongues, frame cracks and rail repairs, coupler and gooseneck replacement, spring hanger and axle bracket welding, fender and ramp repair, steel deck replacement, and modifications such as tie-down points, headache racks, tool boxes, and side rails. Utility, flatbed, car-hauler, equipment, horse, and gooseneck trailers. Not semi-trailers or DOT-inspected commercial units.
Most repairs come to the shop in St. George. Trailers that cannot be moved safely, or that are already on a jobsite, are repaired in place with the mobile rig. Either way the repair is inspected before the trailer is loaded again.

Can you fix a cracked trailer tongue?
Yes, and it is one of the most common repairs. The crack is ground out, welded with full penetration, and gusseted so it does not open again at the same spot. If the tongue is bent or rusted through, it is replaced.

Do you work on gooseneck trailers?
Yes. Coupler replacement, neck repairs, and frame work on gooseneck and fifth-wheel trailers. Bring the trailer to the shop for that work.

Can you come to the trailer?
Yes, if it cannot be moved safely or it is on a jobsite. Most repairs are faster and cheaper in the shop, and the mobile rig is the right call when towing it in is not.

Do you build custom trailers?
Not complete trailers from scratch. Decks, racks, ramps, tool boxes, and modifications to an existing trailer, yes.
