The scope

Your trailer carries your livelihood.

A trailer is the one machine that touches every job — and the one that gets fixed last. Bent frames get “watched,” cracked couplers get re-torqued, soft decks get a sheet of plywood. Red Desert takes trailers back to structural: frames straightened and reinforced, goosenecks and couplers replaced, axle and suspension mounts welded to carry what the plate says they carry.

Repair work gets the same traveler as a new build: fit-up checked, steel prepped to bright metal, welds sequenced so the frame pulls true instead of into a banana. The parts between your load and the highway — hitches, couplers, safety-chain points — get inspected against the standard before anything rolls.

Need a trailer that doesn’t exist on a dealer’s lot? That’s custom fabrication. Hauling equipment that’s cracked too? Heavy equipment repair runs out of the same bay — and the mobile unit comes to the trailer when the trailer can’t come in.

Field notes

Straight answers.

  • Q.01

Do you build custom trailers or just repair them?

Both. Full structural repairs on flatbeds, lowboys, goosenecks, and utility trailers — and custom builds when the trailer you need isn’t one anybody sells. Describe what it has to haul and you’ll get a straight answer on the right way to get there.

  • Q.02

My frame is bent — is it repairable or scrap?

Usually repairable: frames get straightened and reinforced, not just patched. And when a repair isn’t worth the money, you’ll hear that before work starts — a straight answer either way is part of the service.

  • Q.03

Can you look at it where it sits?

Yes — the mobile unit covers all of Washington County. If the trailer can’t make it to St. George, the shop comes to the trailer.

  • Q.04

    What does a quote need?

Photos of the damage or a sketch of the build, rough dimensions, and what it hauls. Call or text (406) 480-4912 — you’ll get a flat-rate or itemized number before work starts.

Road-ready, not roadside
