The scope
Ranch steel works for a living.
Ranch metal doesn’t get gentle use. Gates get pushed by stock and swung ten thousand times, corral panels take a shoulder, implements meet rocks the plow map didn’t mention. Steel built or repaired here is built for that duty: leaned on, slammed, and left out in the weather — and still square next season.
The work runs from new builds — gates sized to the opening, corral and livestock structures, water system brackets and hardware — to straightening and re-welding what winter and livestock bent. Same traveler as everything else the shop touches: fit-up, prep to bright metal, inspection before it’s called done.
Most ranch calls happen where the steel stands, and that’s what the mobile unit is for. One-off implements and attachments live under custom fabrication — and when the tractor itself cracks, that’s heavy equipment repair.

Do you come out to the ranch?
Yes — that’s most of this work. The mobile unit dispatches from St. George and covers Washington County, out to Veyo and Enterprise when the job makes sense.

Can gates be built to odd sizes?
That’s the point of building instead of buying: gates and panels get sized to your opening, your stock, and your latch preference — not to a catalog dimension.

Do you repair old equipment or only build new?
Both, and repair is half the work: straightening bent frames, re-welding cracked tongues, replacing worn pins and bushings. When replacement is genuinely cheaper than repair, you’ll hear it straight.
