From the aerospace floor.

Andrew Petersen spent two years in precision aerospace fabrication, where stainless and exotic alloys are the everyday material, tolerances are measured in thousandths, and every pass is inspected. A weld either meets the standard or gets cut out.

That work sets habits. Fit-up is verified before an arc is struck. Stainless is prepped with tools that have never touched carbon steel, because contamination does not come back out. Purge, heat, and sequence are planned rather than guessed.

Red Desert Metal Solutions applies that process to work that shows: stainless pipe that has to pass inspection, handrails people use every day, gates that are the first thing anyone sees of a house, furniture that has to survive a Southern Utah summer, and trailers that have to hold at highway speed.

It is a small shop. The person who quotes the job welds it, inspects it against the weld traveler, installs it, and answers the phone when you call about it.

The shop runs TIG, MIG, and stick in stainless, steel, and aluminum, works from the bay in St. George or on site with the mobile unit, and schedules against a 48-hour target inside the everyday radius.
