The scope
The part nobody sells.
The part you need is usually the part no catalog carries: the rack sized to your bed instead of the average bed, the guard for that one machine, the bracket that went out of production a decade ago. Custom fabrication starts where the catalog ends — truck accessories, work platforms, guards, hitches, hydraulic-line brackets, and parts that don’t have a name yet.
Bring a print and it gets built to print. Bring a sketch and it gets drawn into something buildable first — dimensions agreed, then steel. Aerospace habits run through the whole build: fit-up checked, prep to bright metal, welds sequenced and inspected before the part leaves. One-off doesn’t mean improvised.
Bigger load-bearing work lives under structural welding; trailer modifications under trailer fab & repair; and gates, corrals, and implement work under farm & ranch metalwork.

Do I need a drawing?
No. A napkin sketch and a conversation are enough to start — the job gets drawn into something buildable and agreed before any steel is cut. Have a real print? Even better: it gets built to it.

One-offs only, or small runs too?
This is an owner-run shop built for one-offs and small batches — and honest about it when a job really belongs at a production house. Straight answer when you describe the quantity.

What will it cost?
A flat-rate or itemized quote lands before work starts, and the number you hear is the number you pay. If scope changes mid-build, you get a call before it does — not an invoice after.

What do you work in?
Steel is the shop’s home turf — if it’s steel and it matters, it’s ours. Describe the part and the metal it lives next to, and you’ll get a straight answer on the right material and process.
