The scope
Structural repairs on equipment, done in the shop.
Heavy equipment repair is structural welding on high-strength steel that is loaded hard every day. It needs a level floor, lifting, fixturing, and controlled pre-heat and cool-down. A truck cannot carry those, so this work is done in the shop in St. George or not at all. Field repair on heavy equipment is not offered.
Typical work includes bucket edge and tooth-adapter replacement, hard-facing on cutting edges and wear plates, cracked booms, sticks, and loader arms, skid-steer attachments such as buckets, forks, grapples, and augers, quick-coupler and thumb repair and fabrication, and cracked frames and mounts on smaller machines and attachments.
Bring the machine or the attachment to the shop, or transport can be arranged through a local hauler. Repairs are ground out to sound metal, welded with the right filler and pre-heat for the alloy, and inspected before the machine goes back to work. Trailers that carry the equipment are handled under trailer repair.

Why shop only?
Equipment steel needs pre-heat, a level floor, fixturing, and sometimes a lift to repair correctly. A truck does not carry those. Doing it in the shop is what makes the repair hold.

How do I get the machine to you?
Drive it or trailer it to the shop in St. George. If you do not have a trailer for it, transport can be arranged through a local hauler and quoted with the job. Attachments can come in on a pickup.

Do you do hard-facing?
Yes. Cutting edges, bucket lips, wear plates, and teeth get hard-facing matched to the material being dug. It is one of the most cost-effective repairs on a bucket.

Can you fix a cracked boom or stick?
Usually. The crack is ground out to sound metal, welded with the correct filler and pre-heat, and reinforced where the original design was thin. If the damage is beyond a safe repair, you hear that up front.

What about a breakdown on a jobsite?
Heavy equipment is not repaired in the field. If the machine can be moved, bring it in. If it cannot, a hauler can bring it in, and that is arranged with the quote.
